June 2026: Cole Jensen and Jason Valentin of Jensen Plumbing LLC

For Cole Jensen and Jason Valentin of Jensen Plumbing LLC, growing a strong drain division has been about doing the work right, taking care of customers, and building a company people can trust.

This month, we’re recognizing Cole and Jason as our Drain Invaders of the Month for the way Jensen Plumbing LLC is continuing to expand its drain division, build a strong reputation, and invest in the tools and people needed to take on more sewer and drain work.

From the Army to Aviation, Then Into the Plumbing Trade

Cole’s path into plumbing started long before Jensen Plumbing LLC began building momentum in the drain world.

After four years in the Army, Cole spent the next three and a half years as a licensed aviation mechanic in the civilian sector.

But around 2019, his path started to shift after he found himself dealing with a clogged drain at his own home. Cole decided to try clearing it himself. He bought a drain cleaner and got the line mostly open, but the blockage was still holding on near the end.

So, he called in a professional.

When the technician arrived, he noticed Cole had already gotten close.

“He was like, ‘It looks like you know what you’re doing for the most part,’” Cole said.

That conversation sparked the idea that Cole might have a future in the trade. What started as a frustrating home drain cleaning job eventually became the beginning of a new career and later the foundation for Jensen Plumbing LLC.

Expanding the Drain Division

Today, Cole and Jason are focused on building a stronger drain division at Jensen Plumbing LLC. As the company continues to grow, drains have become an important area of opportunity, not just for service calls, but for long-term customer relationships, camera inspections, and more advanced sewer work.

Jason has been a major part of that push. His hands-on drain experience, field knowledge, and drive to keep improving have helped Jensen Plumbing take the next steps toward becoming more capable and efficient on drain-related jobs.

The company has also invested in better equipment, including a camera locator, which has helped the team diagnose problems more clearly and create new opportunities from drain calls.

Looking ahead, Cole and Jason want to continue building the drain side of the business with more technicians, stronger systems, and the right tools to keep growing. Excavation is also an area they want to continue developing in the future as the drain division expands.

Putting the Drain Invader X to Work

Cole, Jason, and the Jensen Plumbing team have also been putting the Drain Invader X to work in both residential and commercial applications.

For their operation, portability has been one of the biggest advantages. Since the company runs Ford E-series vans, equipment that can be loaded in and out without a ramp makes a real difference.

“Being able to load it in and out of a van that doesn’t have a ramp is great,” Jason said. “It being lightweight and as capable as it is are both pretty impressive features.”

That mix of portability and performance has made the Drain Invader X a strong fit as Jensen Plumbing continues growing its drain and sewer work.

Building It the Right Way

For Cole, Jason, and the Jensen Plumbing LLC team, growth is about more than adding equipment or taking on more jobs. It is about doing the work right, keeping customers happy, and building a company people can trust.

Jason summed up that mindset well:

“Don’t overwhelm yourself. Focus on doing everything right. Focus on keeping your customers happy. If you do those things and build your reputation, everything else kind of comes along with it.”

And when it comes to what makes a real Drain Invader, Cole put it simply:

“A real Drain Invader is somebody who fixes your problem from one end to the other.”

Congratulations to Cole Jenson and Jason Valentin of Jensen Plumbing LLC, our Drain Invaders of the Month, for helping drive the growth of Jensen Plumbing’s drain division.
